The Volunteer Centre North Warwickshire runs a number of different projects, as well as providing our core volunteering services. Our projects are:-

A new project aimed at giving people with learning disabilities and mental health illnesses a taste at wood work and sewing.
Experienced volunteers will mentor people to make bird tables, planters and soft furnishings.

A weekly job club for unemployed people in North Warwickshire at our base in Atherstone. Pop down on Thursday 10 – 12 and speak to our friendly volunteer job club team. They can help with searching for a job, producing a CV and interview skills. Click here for more information.
White Hart Tea Room (specialising in gluten and sugar free foods)
The White Hart Tea Room is a volunteer run tea room managed by the Volunteer Centre North Warwickshire. It is open Monday – Thursday from 10am. Click here to find out more.
The tea room also offers an outside catering service with buffets from £3 per head. Click here for menus.
We’re very green fingered here at the Volunteer Centre. We run our own allotment that gives volunteers the chance to pick up skills and practical experience for the world of work. We try to use as much of the produce we grow in our very own White Hart Tea Room. For more on the allotment click here.
Volunteer Jeff runs the computer club for us on a Thursday morning. Pop in and see him if you are struggling to log on. Find out more about the club by clicking here.
We will be transporting people into our White Hart Tea Room from local sheltered accommodation units in North Warwickshire. They will enjoy a hot cooked meal prepared by our volunteers and get to meet new people. This project will run every two weeks starting on the 16th May 2016. The session will also be open to any elderly people in the borough as well.
A Dementia Café will also run every week on Wednesdays 11 – 1pm funded by the Healthy North Warwickshire Dementia Project.
Want to try out a new craft? Come and try our friendly arts and crafts group now on a Wednesday 11 – 1pm from the 4th April 2016.

Funded by the Allen Lane Foundation volunteers visit a person on a regular basis to have a chat and a cuppa.
