Telephone Befriending

The Volunteer Centre matches people who are isolated or lonely with people who want to be volunteer befrienders. Instead of meeting people, this is a unique telephone befriending service.

Funded by the Heart of England Community Foundation volunteers make regular phone calls to people to have a chat with them.

To volunteer as a telephone befriender or to benefit from the scheme, give Julie a ring on 01827 717073.
