About Us Volunteer Centre North Warwickshire supports, promotes and develops volunteering in Atherstone, Coleshill, Polesworth and all the surrounding villages. Our mission is 'to promote and develop voluntary activity for the benefit of both volunteers and the local community'. We have information on volunteering opportunities and can help you become a volunteer. We achieve this by recruiting volunteers and matching them with suitable organisations who we know have available placements. We maintain a register of organisations with volunteering opportunities and post many of these onto the www.do-it.org.uk national volunteering database, which you can access from the internet (link on Home page) HistoryWe started in 1980 as a project attached to North Warwickshire Council for Voluntary Service (NWCVS) and became an independant charity in 1988.
