Anne Forwood

Chair, Director (Trustee)

Anne is a County Councillor, ex Borough Councillor, ex Assistant Manager of charity shop, ex CAB advisor, ex Town Councillor, ex Management Board CVS and Trustee of the Rowan Centre.

Lesley Stinton

Vice Chair, Director (Trustee)

Lesley was the Head of Human Resources for Alton Towers for thirteen years until 2003.  She is currently the Voluntary Services Manger at St Giles Hospice.

Lorna Dirveiks

Director (Trustee)

Lorna is currently the Deputy Mayor of North Warwickshire. In the past she has been a school governor. She is actively involved with the ciivic society and The Friends of Atherstone Heritage. Lorna also sits on various other local committees to do with heritage and progression of Atherstone.

David Harris

Director (Trustee)

David spent over forty years working in the motor industry in finance and accounting. He took early retirement in 2004 to devote himself to his voluntary role as Pastor of Polesworth Christian Fellowship. David is also a Governor at one of the Polesworth Schools. He is married with two children. One lives locally the other in Australia.

Neale Williams

Director (Trustee)

Neale worked for both West Yorkshire Police and Leicestershire Constabulary. In 2004 he became a trainer and an assessor of NVQs in the policing sector. He also volunteers for his local mencap and Citizens Advice Bureau.

Adrian Edgington

Director (Trustee)

Karen Hanlan

Finacial Director (Trustee)

Karen is a chartered accountant working with a 'Big-Four' accountancy firm, specialising in the charity sector.  Also acts as Independent Examiner to a number of small charitable organisations.

John Killian

Director (Trustee)

John established and ran JR & JH Killian (Butchers) until retirement in 1992. He joined the MAFF in 1994 and retired again in 2005. He remained as a consultant and associate member of the association of meat inspectors and a member of the Food Standards Agency. In the past John has also been a captain of the GB Lions, a church warden, and a school governor to three schools.  He is an accredited official to the Commonwealth Games and a Freeman of the City of London.

John Rowling

Director (Trustee)

John works in education as an ICT professional. He has also helped to establish the ICT infrastructure at the Criminal Cases Review Commission. John also took a lead rold in the RAF Station Computing Systems including installations in The Falkland Isles.

Jane White,

Company Secretary

Jane is the Manager of VCNW with nearly thirty years involvement in the voluntary sector. Jane was the vice chair of the charity The Children’s Care Campaign. Jane still co-edits her village newsletter - The Stoker for Stoke Golding and is treasurer for two local charities.
The Management Committee

The VCNW Management Committee is made up of director / trustees and advisory members who bring a wide range of knowledge and experience to the organisation. This includes experience of working in the voluntary sector, volunteering, business management and IT skills. The Management Committee meet for a few hours every two months to ensure the Volunteer Centre is running smoothly and to make decisions and plans for the future.
