The third annual English Tourism Week event is coming soon, from 29th March until 6th April; though don’t think that such an event ends there…
The Volunteer Centre North Warwickshire is also a visitor centre, giving locals or visitors to the area the chance to explore the options that are easily available to them in the wonderful Warwickshire County.
English Tourism Week celebrates the quality and vibrancy of the visitor experience and to aid in raising the profile and understanding of tourism across the country. This is to help bring tourism to the attention of the media, industry professionals and those who are looking to find a career in the field. This event will increase awareness amongst tourists, as well as local residents who can discover the wonderful places England has to offer, or maybe even re-discover them all over again.
This week also helps destinations, businesses and organisations build their own marketing and PR campaigns. English Tourism Week brings a collective together helping bring more business and opportunity to England and ultimately share our wonderful culture at home and abroad.
Though like it was mentioned earlier, promoting such activities shouldn’t be heightened at this event only but should also have the same courtesy all year round, that’s why the Visitor Centre located at the Volunteer Centre North Warwickshire in Atherstone is committed to raising awareness for local activities, groups, and culture in the Warwickshire area.
So, if you are looking for a chance to explore your local surroundings or are someone who is considering a visit to our area, then please drop by and our welcoming and friendly staff and volunteers will be happy to help share what Warwickshire has to offer.
Thanks to volunteer Michael Dennis for putting together this piece.
