The Management Committee

The VCNW Management Committee is made up of director/trustees and advisory members who bring a wide range of knowledge and experience to the organisation. This includes experience of working in the voluntary sector, volunteering, business management and IT skills. The Management Committee meet for a few hours every two months to ensure the Volunteer Centre is running smoothly and to make decisions and plans for the future.

Human Resources in late 1980s, initially for Royal Doulton, finally being Head of Human Resources until 2002.  St Giles since 2003, in a voluntary administrative role, then deputy to the Volunteers’ Manager, taking on that role when on retirement in 2005

Chartered Accountant currently working with a 'Big-four' accountancy firm specialising in the charity sector.  Also acts as Independent Examiner to a number of small Charitable organisations.
Fiona Hayles Director, (Trustee)
I have been a volunteer at VCNW for 2 years, involded in the administration, I am also a volunteer at Polesworth Abbey. My working background is in  management of school meals for 140 schools in Wolverhampton including staff recruitment and line management.
John Killian Director, (Trustee)
Established and ran JR & JH Killian (Butchers) until retirement in 92. Member of several organisations, Liveryman of the worshipful company of Butchers and Master Butchers, Invited to join MAFF in 94 retired 2005 , but remain as a consultant, and Associate member of the assoc of meat inspectors, and a member of the Food Standards Agency. Member of IBM, member of NRA firearms liaison committee, international rifle shooter, VP of the South African RA, with honary life membership, ARCO Bisley NRA, coach to the Army RA and Chief Range Officer, past captain of the GB Lions, with 23 tours to various overseas countries, past church warden, and school governor to 3 schools.  Accredited official to the Commonwealth Games, President and Chair of the local and country organisation for fishing and game birds.
